Day Zero (if included in your package)
We pick you up at your accommodation in Cape Town or from the airport in the afternoon and then we spend a chilled evening at Once in Cape Town or Ashanti Backpackpackers, enjoying the sights and sounds of the Mother City. We’ll get together in the evening for the pre-tour and full safety briefing and chat about what you can expect on the tour, which activities you’d like to add and answer any questions you might have.
Day One (Friday)
We wake up bright and early and head out of Cape Town to your first adventure… ziplining through the trees! After that we’ll grab a quick lunch and head to the Garden Route. We’ll arrive in Mossel Bay in time for sunset drinks with a breathtaking view…
Day Two (Saturday)
Today we explore the historic parts of Mossel Bay with a short hike on the majestic St. Blaize cliffs and swim at the famous ‘Poort’ rock pools or at Santos Beach. You can choose to do some adrenaline-pumping activities or just chill and enjoy the view before we enjoy sunset drinks and a traditional South African braai.
Day Three (Sunday)
We start the day with a 3-hour Game Drive and try to spot the Big Five. Then we lazily make our way to Plettenberg Bay with some stops at magical farm stalls and craft markets on the way. Explore more adventurous activities at the Crags and Natures Valley and then enjoy a delicious organic dinner around the fire.
Day Four (Monday)
Kick off the day with the famous Salt River hike to a hidden beach through indigenous forests. Then explore the town of Plettenberg Bay with some cocktails on the beach, a swim and even more awesome activities. End the day with a spectacular sunset and LIVE music!
Day Five (Tuesday)
First up we visit Judah Square for a tour of the Rastafarian village, then we head down to the famous Knoetzie Beach for champagne and snacks. We explore Knysna’s local shops, try some thrilling water activities, a Mitchells Brewery tour and beer tasting and then enjoy a delectable seafood dinner and evening fun.
Day Six (Wednesday)
Today we either explore more of the secrets of Knysna and the Slow Town of Sedgefield, or we go deep into the Knysna Forests, depending on the weather. We spend the night at a backpackers on the beach.
Day Seven (Thursday)
Enjoy a relaxed morning at the backpackers or choose another activity before we make our way to Wilderness. Try some fresh coastal oysters while wandering through Timberlake Organic Village. Cocomo Restaurant is a MUST SEE with live music and epic pizza, before we sleep over at a secret off-the-beaten-track backpackers!
Day Eight (Friday)
After breakfast we start making our way back to Cape Town. Choose between the famous Route 62 and stopping off in Oudtshoorn OR we can go via the N2 Farm Stall route with some classic wine tasting. Arrive back in Cape Town in the evening. We’ll either drop you at your accommodation or if your package includes an extra night, we’ll end the evening off with a dinner to remember!
