Itinerary

 

Day Zero (if included in your package) Cape Town | South Africa 

You will spend a chilled evening at “Once in Cape Town” or “Ashanti Backpackers“, two really cool backpackers in Cape Town. In the evening you will get together with your group and tour guide. While meeting all your fellow travelers you get a briefing about the tour South Africa and get to chat about what you can expect on this amazing trip. This is your opportunity to socialise and get to know everyone you will be spending the next 8 days with-

Mossel Bay | South Africa

Day One (Friday)  

Quite early you head out of Cape Town to your first adventure… ziplining in South Africa through the trees of Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve! After a quick lunch you carry on to the Garden Route. With sunset drinks in Mossel Bay and a breathtaking view you end off your day.

 

Mossel Bay | South Africa

Day Two (Saturday) 

Today you explore the historic parts of Mossel Bay with a short hike on the majestic St. Blaize cliffs and swim at the famous ‘Poort’ rock pools or at Santos Beach. You can choose to do some adrenaline-pumping activities like skydiving or shark cage diving in Mossel Bay or just chill and enjoy the view. There are plenty of things to do in Mossel Bay. With sunset drinks and a traditional South African Braai you end off your day.

 

Natures Valley | South Africa

Day Three (Sunday) 

Early in the morning you go on a 3-hour Game Drive at Botlierskop Game Reserve and try to spot the African Big Five. On the way to Plettenberg Bay you stop at magical farm stalls and craft markets. Explore more adventurous activities at the Crags and Natures Valley where you enjoy a delicious organic dinner around the fire.

Plettenberg Bay | South Africa

Day Four (Monday) 

Kick off the day with the famous Salt River hike to a hidden beach through indigenous forests. Then you explore the town of Plettenberg Bay with some cocktails on the beach, a swim and even more awesome activities. You want an adrenaline booster? No problem! At Bloukrans Bridge you can do the highest Bungee Jump in South Africa. This spectacular day ends with a stunning sunset and LIVE music!

Knysna | South Africa

Day Five (Tuesday) 

First thing of the day is a tour in Judah Square, South Africa’s largest Rastafarian community.  Then you head down to the famous Knoetzie Beach for champagne and snacks. At Mitchells Brewery you go for a beer tasting, explore Knysna’s local shops and try some thrilling water activities later. In the evening you enjoy a delectable seafood dinner.

 

Sedgefield | South Africa

Day Six (Wednesday) 

This day´s activity is dependent on the weather. Either you explore more of the secrets of Knysna and the Slow Town of Sedgefield or you go deep into the Knysna Forest. The night you spend at a cosy backpackers in Sedgefield on the beach.

The Wilderness | South Africa

Day Seven (Thursday) 

Either you enjoy a relaxed morning at the beach of Sedgefield or you choose one of the activities like horse back riding or paragliding in Sedgefield. Before you make your way to the Wilderness you get to try some fresh coastal oysters while wandering through Timberlake Organic Village. Cocomo Restaurant is a MUST SEE with live music and epic pizza, before you sleep over at a secret off-the-beaten-track backpackers in Wilderness!

 

Cape Town | South Africa

Day Eight (Friday) 

After breakfast you start making your way back to Cape Town. You and your group gets to choose between the famous Route 62 with a stop in Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich Capital of the World OR you go via the N2 Farm Stall route with some classic wine tasting. Back in Cape Town you get dropped at your accommodation or if your package includes an extra night, you end the evening off with a dinner to remember!
